Today is National Siblings Day!
For some people, siblings can be their biggest advocate or their biggest bully. What are some ways you would suggest to include siblings in the stuttering journey?
My little brother (see photo) and I went back and forth growing up in being best friends and wanting to murder each other. And yet, I don’t have a single negative memory of him relating to stuttering. He always waited for me to finish my words. Home remained a place where I could safety speak however I chose.
Having a disability is not being broken. Hard stop.
